Overview

Trekking to the world’s most beautiful valley takes us to the Lake of Gosainkunda at an altitude of 4380m, across the Laurebina La Pass, misty Rhododendron forests and various flora and fauna. Distant horizons of snowy peaks grace the trail, making you feel as if your trip is in paradise. During the full moon day in August thousands of Hindu Buddhist pilgrims visit the sacred lake of Gosainkunda to pay religious homage every year. Besides the famous Gosainkunda Lake, the other lakes in the neighborhood are equally worth visiting. On the way back to Kathmandu one can visit Tamang and Sherpa villages and meet friendly local people and know about their culture and tradition.
