Sarangkot Naudanda hiking is a beautiful cultural walk through the villages of the way. Breathtaking panoramic view of the Annapurna range play hide and seek with us as we advance ahead on the hike.
The hike to Sarangkot Naudanda is one of the best views ever in the world, first of all, weak up early in the morning to catch up sunrise from the famous hill station tower to sarangkot which takes 35 minutes, driving from famous tourist lake city Pokhara. After a sunrise view, take breakfast watching the view of Fewa Lake then start to walk on the dirt road, immediately you have a choice either to prefer to walk through villages which involves very less uphill and downhill or by the ridge of the hill. However, due to the construction of the road eco friendly trail is developed. It’s a very gentle walk which boasts a wonderful view of Pokhara valley and surrounding hills to our left with the Himalayan range to our right as we walk towards Naudanda. Once we reach Naudanda, we can enjoy a magnificent view of Mt. Fishtail and other mountains in the Annapurna range up close. After enjoying some refreshing drinks and delicious local food, we drive back to Pokhara. On the way, we can stop at the Tibetan refugee camp and Buddhist monastery at Hemja.
