Overview

Manaslu Larke-Pass Trekking is a popular trekking path that offers an unspoiled environment, spectacular mountain views, a rich cultural heritage, and real adventure. This region was opened in 1992 and protected by the Manaslu Conservation area project founded in 1998. Manaslu is the eighth-highest peak in the world, standing at 8163 meters (26,775′). The Manaslu & Larkya-pass  Trekking offers the best vistas of the Ganesh Himal Range, Annapurna, and many other peaks over 6500 meters, including the 8th highest mountain in the world. In addition, Manaslu Larke-PassTrekking offers ecological diversity, an authentic adventure experience, unparalleled beauty, and cultural history.

Trekkers can enjoy the stunning views of the majestic Himalayan lakes and a diverse assortment of ecological and cultural practices. Environmentally, MCA offers a variety of habitats of unique plants and wildlife Snow leopard, Lynx, Musk Deer, Red Fox, Jackal, Brown Bear, and prey species. That includes Blue Sheep, Himalayan Tahr, Himalayan Serow, and other endemics. Including the snow partridge, Tibetan snowcock, Chukar partridge, Himalayan griffon, and Golden eagle. People in the area have a distinctive culture, with the domination of Tibetan ethnic backgrounds. They practice Buddhism. Financially, the population is dependent on farming and animal husbandry. And also fuel, lumber, and medicinal plants. The numerous enormous Buddhist monasteries are clear examples of the rich cultural history. Local Lamas from the monasteries forbid aggression against wildlife, providing local examples of how religion and environmental conservation can coexist with a significant impact on the abundance of mammals in the Manaslu conservation area.

Manaslu Larke-Pass trekking is a lovely adventure trek in Nepal. You will be rewarded trekking with stunning vistas of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri peaks. All of this gives eternal satisfaction along the path. Due to the rocky terrain of this walk. The Manaslu circuit hike can be arranged as a tea house trek while trekking in the Manaslu region, where lodging is available at local inns. You will directly connect with the local community and gain exchange culture and tradition. Tea houses are all made on a twin and multi-sharing basis. Lunch, dinner, and breakfast will be fresh, hygienic food served with Chinese, western, continental, Nepalese, and Indian. You could choose by menu. You'll get a genuine sense of Nepalese culture and daily life in every village.

This extraordinary journey to Manaslu & Larkya la treks starts with a scenic drive to Machhakhola via Soti Khola, Arughat, a small market hub in the district of Gurkha, passing lovely traditional villages like Jagat, Samagaon, and Dharam sala. The trek then crosses the high pass of 5,200m at the Larke La route and is completed at the well-known Annapurna circuit trail at Dharapani after an enjoyable and unforgettable time with us.

    Arrival in Kathmandu 1337 meters. Your trip day starts today when you arrive to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, you will be received by our representative at the airport. He will be carrying a signboard with our company’s name on it. Then you will be transferred to the tour hotel and checked in. A trip briefing will follow later today and the time will be notified to you by the representative who picks you up from the airport. We will come to meet and brief you about the trip at the fixed time. Until then just relax or explore a bit of surrounding.

    We take you for a day tour of cultural heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley after breakfast. The tour will give you a mixed insight of history, culture, art, architecture and spirituality of Kathmandu valley. The sites include; Swoyambhunath aka Monkey Temple: The oldest of all sites in Kathmandu valley, Swoyambhunath is an important Buddhist spiritual site having the history over two thousand years old. This site has gained a popular name as monkey temple as this small forested hill is a good habitat for hundreds of monkeys. The visit there will heighten your spiritual and cultural experience. Patan City including Patan Durbar Square: A tour to medieval city of Patan gives you a great insight about ethnic Newari culture, Budhhist spirituality, religious harmony, art and architecture while you stroll around the charismatic alleys taking you to magnificent local community squares known as Bahal and eventually leading you to an incredible medieval palace square. The monuments and skill of the local artisans displayed on those monuments in the square will stun you with their unbelievable charm. Boudhanath Stupa: The largest of its kind in the world, this magnificent stupa is a very important center of faith for the people following Tibetan Buddhism. This place is nice Circular Square with the stunning stupa in the middle of it which spreads a lot of spiritual vibrations around the atmosphere.

    Take an early morning breakfast and drive to Machhakhola for about 10 hours. Drive through beautiful countryside of Nepal enjoying the natural wonders. Drive via Dhading Bensi, Aarughat and the road passes through forested area, ethnic Gurung village, rice terraces, uphill and downhill. Reach Machha Khola and stay overnight there.

    The trek today will take you to Jagat after walking for about 7 hours. The trail winds up and down the hill through various types of terrains which takes you to a natural hot spring. You cross several suspension bridges today over the Budhi Gandaki river to reach Jagat where you will spend overnight.

    The trek today begins early morning after breakfast and leads you towards Deng, the destination for today. The trail today also passes through different villages and bamboo forested parts. You meet the Budhi Gandaki river on the way to cross it and the trail goes up and down the hill like the other days. After 7 hours of trekking, you reach a small but beautiful village of Deng and stay overnight there.

    Namrung – 2630 m - B.L.D On the fourth day of trek, you are heading to Namrung at the elevation of 2630 meters above sea level. The trek starts after breakfast and passes through several cultural villages crossing the Budhi Gandaki river. The trail passes also through forested parts up and down the hill. You will come across some Gumbas, the Buddhist monasteries on the way. It is a great day for cultural walk. You will reach Namrung after about 7 hours of trekking. Once you reach Namrung, relax and enjoy the view of several Himalayan peaks from there. Stay overnight there.

    Namrung – Samagaun – 3530 m - B.L.D Destination for today is Samagaun which is reached after about 7 hours of trek today. The goes through several villages with the view of Mt. Manaslu from the village of Lho. You can visit Ribung Gumba in Lho village while you enjoy the spectacular view of Manaslu. Today you will have incredible views of different mountain peaks like Himal Chuli, Ganesh Himal including Peak 29. The fascinating walk today finishes after reaching Samagaun where you will spend the night today.

    Acclimatization Day - B.L.D You will have an acclimatization day at Samagaun today. You can explore around to know more about the local Sherpa culture and Buddhist spirituality. Visit the Buddhist Gumba, mani stones in the local surrounding. You will have an enchanting view of the Himalayan peaks and glacier. Get acquainted with the altitude here so that you are ready to move higher ahead. Overnight at Samagaun.

    Samagaun – Samdo – 3860 m - B.L.D The trek to Samdo today is about 5 hours walk, first with a descent to the River. You will take the trail that leads you to Larkya La pass leaving the other one which goes to the Manaslu Base Camp. Traversing the trail up and down the hill through several natural wonders, you reach Samdo. Overnight stay at Samdo.

    Samdo – Larkya Phedi – 4460 m - B.L.D About 5 hours of walk today after breakfast takes you to Larkya Phedi also known as Dharmasala. As usual in the high mountains, the trail passes through up and down the hill crossing several streams. A slow and paced walk will give you plenty of time to immerse into the beauty of nature surrounding your walking trail and as you progress slowly towards Larkya Phedi, you will be adjusting with the high altitude climate. Overnight at Larkya Phedi. Day 11 Larkya

    Larkya Phedi – Larkya La – 5160 m – Bimthang – 3720 m - B.L.D Rather a long day of walk today will take you to the highest elevation of the entire trip at the famous Larkya La at the elevation of 5160 meters above sea level. The walk along the glacier will give you some spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks. When you reach the pass, an unbelievable view of the Himalayas is awaiting you. After enjoying few good minutes, you start descending the trail that leads you to Bimthang. Stay overnight at Bimthang.

    Dharapani - taal -or to your propose destination 1700m - B.L.D Today from Dharapani, you have option to take sharing jeep to Besisahar following the trail of famous Annapurna circuit due to access of the road to Dharapani. And if you wish to back to Kathmandu, Pokhara or Chitwan you could continue your destination or walk down following the Annapurna Circuit Trekking trail Besisahar, pass through several beautiful villages which will give you rich cultural experience. Eventually reach the beautiful Taal village enjoying the beauty of both Manaslu and Annapurna circuit trekking route. Overnight at Taal village.
