Pokhara:

The mesmerising beauty of Pokhara has inspired numerous travellers. This area is known as “The Himalayas Treasure" for its pure air, breathtaking snow-capped peaks of the Annapurna Range, and peaceful Phewa, Begnas, and Rupa Lakes. Due to its abundance of lovely lakes, Pokhara is often also referred to as the "City of Lakes." Numerous ethnic communities and their rich traditions, temples, monasteries, museums, and other places of interest are cultural attractions. Stunning views of snow-capped mountains, green hills, wide and beautiful hillsides, crystal-clear water lakes, limestone caves, waterfalls, gushing rivers, and gorges are examples of natural attractions.

Pokhara, the capital of Gandaki Province, lies 200 kilometres west of Kathmandu. Pokhara is the second biggest city in Nepal. It is the doorway to the journey to Annapurna and Mount Everest.

Pokhara International Airport:

There are 43 airports in Nepal overall. Only one of these, Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, which is also serviced by IndiGo, is an international airport.

Pokhara International Airport is a global airport in the Nepalese province of Gandaki. It has replaced the previous domestic airport and is situated 3 km to the east of it. On January 1, 2023, the airport's operations formally started. It is the third international airport in Nepal. Pokhara Airport was a domestic airport serving Pokhara. Pokhara Airport has been replaced by Nepal's third international airport, Pokhara International Airport, thanks to a new agreement on air travel between India and Nepal. At the Tribhuvan International Airport, guests will catch their flight destined for Pokhara and depart it in Pokhara.

The runway at Pokhara International Airport is 2,500 metres long, 45 metres wide, and aligned east-west. The taxiway, which is 1,200 metres long and 23 metres wide, connects the landing to the parking areas, maintenance facilities, and gateways. At the airport, narrowbody Airbus A320 and Boeing 757-200 planes may take off and land.
