Your trip day starts today when you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, you will be received by our representative at the airport. He will be carrying a signboard with our company’s name on it. Then you will be transferred to the tour hotel and checked in. A trip briefing will follow later today and the time will be notified to you by the representative who picks you up from the airport. We will come to meet and brief you about the trip at the fixed time. Until then just relax or explore a bit of surrounding.
We take you for a day tour of cultural heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley after breakfast. The tour will give you a mixed insight on history, culture, art, architecture, and spirituality of Kathmandu valley. The sites include; Swoyambhunath aka Monkey Temple: The oldest of all sites in Kathmandu valley, Swoyambhunath is an important Buddhist spiritual site having the history over two thousand years old. This site has gained a popular name as monkey temple as this small forested hill is a good habitat for hundreds of monkeys. The visit there will heighten your spiritual and cultural experience. Patan City including Patan Durbar Square: A tour to medieval city of Patan gives you a great insight about ethnic Newari culture, Buddhist spirituality, religious harmony, art, and architecture while you stroll around the charismatic alleys taking you to magnificent local community squares known as Bahal and eventually leading you to an incredible medieval palace square. The monuments and skill of the local artisans displayed on those monuments in the square will stun you with their unbelievable charm. Boudhanath Stupa: The largest of its kind in the world, this magnificent stupa is a very important center of faith for the people following Tibetan Buddhism. This place is nice Circular Square with the stunning stupa in the middle of it which spreads a lot of spiritual vibrations around the atmosphere.
Your adventure day begins as you depart from Kathmandu after breakfast, driving to Sundarijal, the starting point of your trek to Chisapani. Sundarijal is about an hour's drive from Kathmandu. The trekking trail ascends until Borlang Bhanjyang, taking you through lush forests, charming Tamang villages, and terraced farmlands. You'll pass by picturesque waterfalls and enjoy the serene sounds of nature. After Lunch, you gradually climb up a small pass called Borlang Bhanjyang, reaching an altitude of 2,420 meters (7,874 feet) above sea level. After the pass, you continuously descend to Chisapani, a beautiful hilltop village where you'll settle into your accommodation. Chisapani offers stunning mountain views and a Its peaceful ambiance makes it a great location to relax after your walk.
Get up early to witness a magnificent sunrise over the Himalayan range. On clear days, you have an extended range of different Himalayan panoramic views and may even glimpse Mount Everest. After breakfast, prepare for your trek to Nagarkot. The trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot offers more stunning vistas of the Himalayas. You'll pass through forests, charming hamlets, and terraced fields. The trail is well-marked, and the walk is refreshing. Nagarkot is known for its panoramic views of the Himalayas, including stunning sunsets and sunrises. You'll have ample time to explore and soak in the natural beauty.
After another spectacular sunrise and breakfast in Nagarkot, you can hike to Changu Narayan from Nagarkot, gradually descending to Katike and then through a beautiful and serene hike to Changu. Changu Narayan is an iconic and first temple build in Kathmandu valley, and listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The walk takes you through scenic trails and lush landscapes. Tour the city of temples and be amazed by the intricate artwork. The serene surroundings and historical significance make Changu Narayan a peaceful and culturally enriching destination. After visiting Changu Narayan, continue your journey to Bhaktapur, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bhaktapur is renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture, ancient palaces, and vibrant culture. Explore the Durbar Square, visit traditional pottery workshops, savor local cuisine at a cozy cafe, and return to Kathmandu.
