Visa and permit to Bhutan

How to get Visa and permit to Bhutan?.

To obtain a visa and permit to Bhutan, visitors must book their travel through a registered Bhutanese tour operator, like Asiana Treks and Tours, and follow the guidelines below:
1.    Choose a Bhutanese tour operator: Visitors must choose a registered tour operator and book their travel through them. The tour operator will handle the Visa and permit application process on behalf of the visitor.
2.    Submit passport details: Visitors must submit a scanned copy of their passport details to the tour operator, along with the completed visa application form.
3.    Pay the tour fee: Visitors must pay the minimum daily tariff to the tour operator, which covers accommodation, meals, transportation, and a licensed tour guide.
4.    Obtain visa approval: The tour operator will submit the visa application to the Bhutanese government for approval. Once the Visa is approved, the tour operator will send a visa clearance letter to the visitor.
5.    Obtain the permit: Visitors must show the visa clearance letter at the port of entry, the Paro International Airport, or the border checkpoints with India. The Bhutanese authorities will issue the permit upon arrival.
It's important to note that visitors must be accompanied by a licensed tour guide during their stay in Bhutan, and independent travel is not allowed. The tour operator will arrange for a licensed tour guide and make all necessary travel arrangements.
Additionally, visitors should check with their tour operator and the Bhutanese government for the latest travel advisories and entry requirements, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has resulted in additional health and safety protocols for travelers.
